has raised $2,750.00Last year I started the Walk to Axe Anaphylaxis in honour of my 13th birthday because my brother, my sister and I all live with lots of food allergies. I had hoped to raise $7,000 to fund some allergy research but I guess we learnt that there are lots of people living the way we are, and we ended up with so many people participating in the event, that all together, we raised $45,000!! Because of the success, and how many people wanted to help make a difference, we decided to organize the Walk again this year.
The funds we raise will go to Canadian Asthma, Allergy and Immunology Foundation, to fund research into allergic diseases. The Walk will be held on October 17, 2010 at the Cedarvale Ravine.
